I post a lot about RTR and I get a lot of questions about how it works, how long you get to keep the items, how much does it cost, etc. I am going to break it down for you in as much (concise) detail as possible.

There are two ways to rent items a one-time rental or through the membership

One-Time Rental
You choose the item(s) you want to rent for either 4 or 8 days, you choose your size, and they offer you a backup size in hopes that one of them will work out for you!

Rental Memberships – highly recommend!
With this option – you select from one of the three plans below depending on how many items you want to have possession of each month. Since I currently have the 5/items per month I am going to use that as the example. Click here for a 30% off code!

Each month I am charged a flat amount and automatically receive 2 shipments of up to 5 items per shipment, totaling 10 items throughout the month BUT I can only have 5 pieces at a time

Let’s say I am new to RTR and it is my first shipment – I will select 5 pieces online and use 1 my shipments to have them delivered to my door within 1-3 business days (mine are usually here the next day). I wear these pieces for as long as I want, but let’s say in a week or two, I decide I am done with all 5 pieces. I can then go online, select “swap” for all and then select 5 new pieces and use my 2nd shipment. At this point in the process you will need to return your package with your original 5 pieces (I will go over this process below) in a day or two and RTR will immediately begin working on shipping out your next 5 items!

In the event that I want to keep an item or two – I can keep it for as long as I want, but it does hold up one of my spots. For example – if I want to keep 1 item and return 4, I can do that, but I will only be able to rent 4 new items in the next shipment.

RETURNS
RTR makes returning your rentals extremely easy with two options, after packing up the items you wish to return and swapping out the prepaid/preprinted label you can either…
1. Drop off your package at UPS
2. Schedule your package to be picked up with Returnmates and RTR will provide you with this option upon checkout
I have used both options, just truly depends on my mood and if I already have plans to go to UPS or not.
