3-Day Weekend in Tampa, FL

We recently took a quick 3 day trip to Tampa for a few reasons 1. to visit some of our best friends, 2. because Tampa holds a special place in our heart and 3. we really wanted to all go to Bern’s Steakhouse, but of course they were closed this weekend for renovations (which just means we have to go back) šŸ™‚ Here is our itinerary for the weekend.

Friday
We took the first flight out Friday morning so we landed around 9:30 AM
Had breakfast at Pete’s in Ybor – the cutest spot for bagels and coffee
Shopped and walked around Hyde Park Village – my favorite outdoor shopping area
511 Franklin for Happy Hour – 50% off all cocktails! – Espresso Martini’s šŸ™‚
Dinner at Boulon – highly recommend for dinner, great vibes!

Then we went bar hopping – The Edition, Hotel Bar and American Social

Saturday
We had the most perfect beach day at St. Pete beach, with Pub Subs (of course!)

Then did some bar/brewery hopping around St. Pete. We stopped at Bodega, 3 Daughters, and Green Bench before heading back to Tampa

We had dinner at Wagamama – highly recommend trying out this London-based, asian inspired restaurant
Ended the night with bowling at Splitsville

Sunday
Started the day off with brunch at Psomi – the highlight of the trip for me, it is the cutest restaurant with the most amazing fresh food and pastries. I am still dreaming of the baklava coffee cake!

We are definitely an “activity” crew, so we checked out Shuffle – they have multiple indoor shuffle boards, a full bar, and the nicest staff! We played for an hour or two, it was perfect.
Stopped at Hidden Springs Ale Works – honestly some of the best sour beers I have ever had, check this spot out!

Our friends took us to Amateur Works, specifically M.Bird, for some great cocktails and beautiful views of the city
We ended the trip the best way we know how, with a boat load of sushi at Sakana Sushi

Have you been to Tampa? What did we miss that we need to add to our list for next time? Let me know! XO
